Image of a truss span with bracing using purlin beams and diagonals. The keder covers are drawn into one of the two parallel grooves. Through the double grooves the covers can be overlapped and adjusted to fit perfectly. The purlin beams above the cover prevent constant overstressing of the welded seams with suction in strong wind. Apart from that, auxiliary constructions can be reached on the truss halves above and below the covers, e.g. for the combining of several trusses to form larger units that can be hoisted with the crane.
The weight of a roof unit with approx. 10kg/m2 is relatively low and has many advantages, e.g. with a large crane jib length or when moving a guard. |
